In 2013, my family and I went go to the Rio Quente Risort, and I say for all People was with me, we had a very good experience in this place,it was so beautiful and have a a lot of leisure, the reception is excellent had lots of options of food and I'm sure I will came back for this paradise again and I recommend for all my friends, congratulations for the manager!!

Stayed for a wedding and had a very good experience. English speaking staff available for most of the day and were very helpful.
If you’re used to travelling in Asia or the US, things are different here. Located within a waterpark resort powered by hot springs, there’s a small town nearby but not much else - but the resort has everything you need. Room was clean, well sized and appropriately appointed for the hot climate. I did ask for my room to be serviced one night - which the hotel says they offer - as well as extra towels to the room and this wasn’t done. I put it down to language barrier and night staffing.
The wedding was handled very well by the property and the resort facilities are world class.
Would recommend and stay again.

Incredible! I went to Rio Quente many times, but this was one of my best experiences overall. The Hotel Turismo is wonderful, stay inside of the complex made a huge difference! Food was amazing, staff were espectacular - here I need to give a special thanks to the Manager: Rogério Angeloni, he went above and beyond to make us feel special and have a great experience. I would come back for sure and I highly recommend you stay there too. Specially if you are older, have kids and are looking for relaxing!

American tourists beware, don’t stay at hotel Pousada, stay at any of the other surrounding hotels. After trying for days to get a hold of the hotel by phone we finally got through and were told to add an extra person to our room would only be an extra 10% but we were not able to do it over the phone and had to do it in person. When we arrived we were then told that they could not do that and we would need an entirely different room for about 5x what were expecting to pay. Completely dishonest and terrible business practice, go anywhere else.
