Giramundo

I ordered the individual shrimp (with rice and French fries) and a caipirinha. The shrimp was over-cooked, the fries very oily, and caipirinha not balanced.

That being said, the location is right on the beach (beautiful!), waitress was friendly, and the musician the night I was there fantastic. I didn’t really enjoy the meal but thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.

Food is quite good, at least the hamburger and chicken sandwich were very good. Caparinha was so-so. This place is not as open as some other options, which is good for windy or rainy times.

Nice atmosphere, but food is pretty bad. Tried the escondidhna and burger. Both close to inedible.

This is a typical beach bar for Joao Pessoa, albeit a little larger and cleaner than many. They offer a decent variety of food items and have a full bar and some decent wines at good prices (that you don’t find at many beach bars here).
They have live music and are open until 1AM (they only open in the evening, after 6 PM).
A nice option for drinks before retiring to your hotel.

Disappointing place at Beach that I went through, awful food and extremely hot place to spend a dinner.
