Littoral Hotel

We stayed here earlier this week and it was overall an okay experience. The service from the staff was great and everyone was friendly. Also the breakfast was good. However, the bed in our room was very old and I got very bad back pain from it. The wi-fi is a bit unreliable as well. Still a great location, though.

Big room with one double bed and one single. But the view from the window terrible. Desk is very narrow and not enough space to sit behind. The single bed should be removed and replaced by a proper desk.

Decent size room but the WiFi is practically non existent. Would never connect while in the room which was very annoying. The air never seemed to get the room cold even at night. There is a fridge in the room which is a perk but I would not choose to stay here again.

We stayed here for a night this week and I’m feeling a little mixed. The room we stayed in certainly needs updating (as you can infer from the photo of the rotary dial phone in the bathroom—why is there a phone in the bathroom?). The included breakfast was passable, but the dining area is crowded (seems like a pretty busy hotel from the number of guests at breakfast). Also, they charge for parking (admittedly, very little, but still…).
On the positive side, the employees are professional, but friendly. The pool is very large compared to all the hotels that are located right in front of the beach. They also have a pool table, a foosball table, a decent gym and a bar.
There are several good restaurants quite close by and a few beach bars in front of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the hot water is hot; the a/c also worked well. In all, if you can overlook some out of date fixtures, I would recommend this hotel.

I would like to leave my review about this hotel and the reason why the cancellation was made. I made a reservation for 2 adults and a child through the Hotel.com website. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were faced with the first difficulty. First problem. My 12-year-old niece was charged 80 reais per stay. Since we were not informed about children's age. The child was my niece and it would be her first time on the beach. The second problem was, even my little girl showing her ID and birth certificate, she couldn't stay because she didn't have a written authorization document from her mother. She was not a child at a certain point, that is, extra money. But she was a child when it came to documents.
The receptionist does not offer any help. Treated my aunt with indifference. My niece wanted to cry, I didn't have internet which made it more difficult. The only action the receptionist took was to call the security of the place when my aunt got nervous. It was disappointing. I had no option to trade, so canceling was the only option after a long journey, I only lost money
