A traditional Brazilian restaurant where one pays by the 100g of food one takes from a buffet. There are plenty of options and lots to eat.

They have an interesting system where upon entering, you're handed a card. That card record the total weight each time one gets food. Before leaving, one needs to pay off the money on the card.

Overall, a fun experience with lots of good things to eat.

Mangai is a quality buffet restaurant that offers typical food and beverages at a reasonable price. This specific Mangai restaurant in João Pessoa welcomed my old lady and me as though we were special guests. That was the best treat.

An experience. Lots of good food, mostly buffet style. A "Sertanejo" experience - an upscale version of things found in the interior of the Paraiba State. Not cheap. Two parking lots, one adjacent, the other around the corner. You can also buy special items there to take home. A "must visit" for tourists.

This is a must do if you're visiting João Pessoa and are into Brazilian cuisine. It was recommended to me by several people whenever I mentioned I was going to João Pessoa and I totally get why.

Really good food, a wide variety of all you can imagine in dishes, from savory to sweet. Nice environment that celebrates tradition. It might be a bit expensive if you get easily tempted by all the deliciously looking dishes.
