Free museum with small exhibitions about: historical paintings of the city, the history of the city, the history of the house, and João Pessoa himself. Plus the obligatory modern art gallery as every museum in Brazil. The house itself is striking, especially the rather geometric facade and the flooring.
Great museum about fhe history if João Pessoa. It was better than I expected. In this house João Pessoa lived for 9 months before his unfortunate assination. This museum explains the possible reason of this in a historical perspective with the city. On the top floor there are many paintings and photographs of the city. Our guide could only speak Portuguese but there is also a person that can speak English. Entrance is free.
Great place to learn about the history of João Pessoa. Nice gift shop in the back. Not for kids, as they will be bored.

Great place to visit for an hour. Joao Pessoa has an interesting history, like most of Brazil. The staff were very friendly, and one guy spoke great English.
