Parque Zoobotânico Arruda Câmara (Bica)

An interesting park filled with many different species of endemic and endangered animals. It has a small entry fee of BR$3 (cash only).

The first part are cages filled with animals, while after walking for about a kilometer, one arrives at a small pond with food stalls.

Overall, it's not too big, but it is a cool place to visit to see some animals.

It is a really cool place and I had fun but there are few animals and it's reforming so I couldn't go to some places there

I am so torn on these places. On one hand, all of the animals have been rescued from illegal trades, so they have been given a second chance on life. The problem is that some of the enclosures are small and the animals don't seem to have stimulation. I saw quite a few animals walking around in circles and clearly not well mentally.
Having said that, a nice place to see animals and learn about different species.

One of the most beautiful places in João Pessoa

Interesting and a full-on jungle for lots of it but very little actual information on the animals and no information at all on the flora. A local biologist/conservationist did say part of the redecoration process is to produce better flyers for the above mentioned.

Well worth a visit for the beautiful experience and place - especially if the massive bird cage with macaws is open for you to walk through.

Parking is free but the usual suspects (flanelinhas) Will be there to help you "maneuver" and expect a Real coin from you
